Recently, Baosu received the Patent-Intensive Product Certification Certificate for its PVC-O pipes (Certificate No.: 20231300000418.7). The company's core product, TAIJIBLUE PVC-O pipes (specifications: dn90-1200), has passed the 2025 Patent-Intensive Product recognition.
The engineering advantages of PVC-O pipes are concentrated in four aspects:
First, lower pipeline network leakage. The socket adopts patented forming technology, improving sealing reliability, which helps reduce the leakage rate across the entire pipeline network and provides direct support for controlling the water supply production–sales differential (non-revenue water).
Second, material and energy savings. At the same pressure rating, the wall thickness is reduced, so raw material consumption and processing energy consumption decline in tandem—optimizing both material cost and carbon cost.
Third, more construction-friendly. The lighter pipe reduces labor and machinery input in transportation, handling, and installation. dn90-1200 PVC-O pipes will be widely used in various engineering fields.
Fourth, better whole-life-cycle cost. In long-cycle application scenarios such as water supply and irrigation, the pipe's durability and low-maintenance characteristics amortize the annual average investment, making the life-cycle account superior to a simple unit-price comparison.
Going forward, Baosu will continue to increase R&D investment in material system, structural design, forming process, and PVC-O fittings, further improve its intellectual property layout and protection mechanisms, and drive more PVC-O technical achievements toward conversion into product performance and engineering value.
